Shiny Ceremony!

Ceremony usually has very low lighting, because it IS a goth club, but last night they had these CRAZY BEAUTIFUL shiny, squiggly, crazy raver lights. I was in heaven. At one point I was sitting on one of the boxes just staring, as pictured here. They turned them off once the main DJs started going, but it was still fun to dance in light spaghetti.

Oh and apparently my hair dye is UV reactive. NOICE!

OH! MICE was really, really, REALLY amazing today. I met a lot of fantastic artists and tried to network a little bit as well, but I always feel awkward promoting my stuff. I need to get over that. RAWR!

My apologies for the hastily drawn comics that will be appearing over the next few days. I am still really tired/ recovering. 

Leaving this month hit me a lot harder than usual. I don't know why, but leaving before the performance class probably had a lot to do with it. I definitely shed a few tears. 

(Oh, and "tadaima" means "I'm home" in Japanese.)

Hey kids. This week is promising to kick my ass really hard, and interesting stuff happened today (I made an art burrito, saw a guy yelling at another guy who was handing out Bible pamphlets, and listened to a very lively congregation while walking home from the train) but I'm too beat to draw anything today. Instead, here's a little drawing I did a few days back. Enjoy!

Stupid neighbor roll-over. The other neighbors were cool! They wouldn't have called the cops on us for a bit of fleshing and fire eating. BLAH!

Also, I never thought I would hear the phrase "pig fuckers" uttered from Cookie. That guy is an enigma.

The rest of the evening was highly enjoyable, though. Happy Libby Day, cutie pants!!
