Boabom

I took my first intro Boabom class today. It was just what I needed after feeling sick and useless and crippled by bad dreams all day. Sojamm!

Mia Yodeling!

It was really hard drawing myself being shaken, but I did the best I could.
Notes on this strip:

1) Mia Yodeling is a reference to Cat Yodeling. 

2) I love the face I drew on Steve in panel 1

3) Russen is making another guest appearance, even if it is just as a voice in the peanut gallery.

4) Steve is a goofball and I like him. A lot. A whole whole lot.  

I think this was one of the best moments from the hurricane day yesterday. Squee ^^

Poi Moves Comic #1

Russen suggested I try making comics explaining poi moves. I can barely explain them in words, but I decided to give it a try here.

Some really funny stuff happened yesterday regarding the hurricane, but I'm currently babysitting and I don't have time to draw it right now, but I might do a special "post hurricane double post" today because frankly, it was amazing XD

Beautiful Fan Dancer!!

I honestly cannot remember how the topic of shrooms and fire fans came up at my tech fans class, but I do know that Paul didn't think it was a good idea to do. I DO remember that the phrase "I am a beautiful fan dancer!" was uttered, and I probably laughed for a good five minutes afterwards XD

Summer Wildfire 2011 Special Comic!

HERE IT IS! This comic was hard to do because so much happened, it was hard to narrow down to just one strip. Also, I adored each and every last one of the performances, I just couldn't resist drawing a cartoony Drex ^^

Special guest appearances in this comic include Russen, Libby, Ryan, Steve, and Drex.

Guhhh

Wildfire was A-MA-ZING.
Holy fuck.
I am still a little out of it but a new comic will be up either today or tomorrow :D It'll be a big, shiny, special comic!
At least, I hope it will be. So many amazing things happened it's hard to convey it in drawing. 97% of the weekend was just pure happiness, and the other 3% was mind-numbing exhaustion. I had a few really good burns, saw a LOT of good burns (especially Julia's epic fan dance to a techno remix of "Carmina Burana" which involved her just falling over at the end), took a bunch of wonderful classes, and...wow. I'm so homesick. Luckily I'll be going back in a month!

Wildfire Bound!

I am never drawing refrigerators ever again XD Well, at least not close ups of them.

I'm going to be reunited with my beautiful fire family this weekend, so no updates until Monday or Tuesday morning! Cheers!

Arsenal of Expressions

If you have hung out with me for more than five minutes, you probably recognize at least three of these facial expressions. The only one I didn't add in there was my utter shock/horror face. 

This was inspired by a picture I saw of Finn from Adventure Time making lots of awesome faces. 

I'm too tired to think straight right now. 

Tomorrow I'm going down to Wildfire with Steve and Russen. Oh gods, I can't wait to be back home...

Butterflies

So, since starting this little comic I have been researching a lot of comics, both on the web and on good old fashioned paper. I stumbled across Bunny through a post on Questionable Content and OH GODS, I LOVE IT! It's such a great comic. It's simple, cute, strange, and I seriously dig the artwork. I doodle bunnies that look sort of like The Bunny in my notebooks when I'm not listening in school. ANYWAY. I decided to do a little fan-art in the style of Bunny for today's strip. Enjoy!

Overly Ambitious

I'm sure a lot of spinners/performers out there have had this dilemma: You see somebody do something totally kick ass, and when you try to do it, YOU FAIL. HORRIBLY. Of course, it's all a part of the learning process, and if you can't laugh at yourself when you bang yourself in the head, well...heh.

To be fair, I'm not THAT hard on myself, and the last panel was ridiculously hard to draw without being too self-deprecating XD

After much poking and prodding (of the good and bad variety), I have finally decided to start up a site to host my autobiographical web comic.
The topics covered in this comic are sometimes going to be NSFW, and are going to be based solely off of the things that happen in my life or in my head. Basically it's going to be a blog, but with pretty pictures.
